Everleigh Planter Pot

Material: Fibre-clay composite (magnesium chloride & fibreglass)
Finish: Speckled in Blizzard & Granite, smooth matte in Nougat & Onyx
Range: Four colourways, three sizes plus a Set of 3
Best For: Standards, cone topiary, olives & feature trees
Use: Indoor & outdoor
Warranty: 12 months

Overview

Tall, tapered and softly squared. The Everleigh narrows towards the base and curves at every edge, so it reads as one considered shape rather than a plain box. These are the big ones — the largest holds 182 litres and stands 77 cm tall before a plant goes in it.

Height is what these buy you. A clipped cone, an olive standard, a multi-stem feature tree — anything with a trunk worth showing sits at eye level rather than around your ankles. Crafted from a fibre-clay composite — magnesium chloride reinforced with fibreglass — it is UV-stable and weatherproof, yet a fraction of the weight of cast concrete. A drainage plug is included, so you can plant directly or use it as a cache pot.

Choose Your Size

  • Small — 49 L: 36 × 36 × 53 cm. Opening 25 cm — fits a plant up to a 200 mm nursery pot. Around 1–2 bags of potting mix to fill.
  • Medium — 97 L: 45 × 45 × 65 cm. Opening 36 cm — fits a plant up to a 300 mm nursery pot. Around 3 bags of potting mix to fill.
  • Large — 182 L: 56 × 56 × 77 cm. Opening 46 cm — fits a plant up to a 400 mm nursery pot. Around 5 bags of potting mix to fill.
  • Set of 3: One of each size, for a graduated group against a wall or either side of an entry — and better value than buying the three separately. Around 9 bags of potting mix fills all three.

A tall pot with a top-heavy plant appreciates a sheltered spot, or a few stones in the base on a windy balcony.

Key Features

  • Real height: 53 cm, 65 cm and 77 cm tall empty — a plant at eye level, not at your feet
  • Curved-edge silhouette: A softly squared taper that narrows towards the base
  • Four colourways: White Blizzard and mid-grey Granite, both with a fine dark speckle, and smooth matte pale greige Nougat and near-black Onyx
  • Three sizes, or all three: Buy the size you need, or the Set of 3 as a graduated group
  • Height with no heft: Fibre-clay (magnesium chloride & fibreglass) — the 182 L size is 20 kg empty, where cast concrete would be unliftable
  • Weatherproof: UV-stable for balcony, courtyard, indoor or outdoor use
  • Drainage plug included: Plant directly, or leave the plug in to use as a cache pot indoors
  • Peace of mind: Backed by a 12-month warranty

Sealing & Care

Fibre-clay is naturally porous, so it is worth brushing a pot and ornamental sealer around the inside of the pot before you plant. It forms a waterproof barrier that stops moisture and fertiliser salts wicking out through the wall — the cause of the pale tide marks and chalky white bloom you see on older pots — and it adds years to the life of the pot.

Sealers are water-based and brush on like paint; most hardware stores carry one. Coat the inside walls and the base, let it cure as directed, then plant as normal. It is worth the extra half hour on any pot going indoors, onto a deck, or onto paving where a damp ring would show — and together with the drainage plug supplied, it is what lets you use these inside without marking the floor.

Complete the Look

Pair your Everleigh with a matching plant from our range and a few bags of premium potting mix — check the size guide above for the plant size that fits and how much mix you'll need.

Why You'll Love It

Height is the hardest thing to buy in a garden and the easiest to miss. One against a blank wall does what a small tree would do — three graduated ones do it properly, and you can move them.
