Overview
This is the one you buy when the space needs an anchor. The Aspen is a wide, low, rounded bowl made only in statement sizes — 75cm and 101cm across — so it reads as landscape architecture rather than a pot. One in the middle of a courtyard, or a pair flanking a driveway, and the planting around it can stay simple.
Crafted from a fibre-clay composite — magnesium chloride reinforced with fibreglass — the Aspen is UV-stable and weatherproof, and startlingly light for its scale: the 101cm is 33 kg empty, where a concrete bowl that size would need machinery. Fill it in position, though — with 412 litres of mix inside, it isn't moving again.
Choose Your Size
- Large — 157 L: 75 × 51 cm (W × H). Opening 55 cm — takes a plant up to a 400 mm nursery pot, or three to five smaller plants as a group. Around 5–6 bags of potting mix to fill.
- Extra Large — 412 L: 101 × 75 cm (W × H). Opening 77 cm — takes a small feature tree, or a generous mixed planting. Around 14–16 bags of potting mix to fill.
Both sizes are wide enough to plant as a composition rather than a single specimen — an architectural centrepiece with lower planting around its base is the classic treatment. Position before filling.
