Botanical Name: Eucalyptus pulverulenta ‘Baby Blue’
Family: Myrtaceae
Origin: Australia (NSW)
Plant Type: Evergreen tree
Eucalyptus ‘Baby Blue’ is a compact, highly ornamental gum prized for its powdery silver-blue, coin-shaped foliage on red-tinged stems — a favourite for cut foliage/floristry and year-round garden structure. In SA gardens it forms a tidy small tree and produces cream-white blossoms in winter–spring that feed bees and birds. Ideal as a feature, for low-maintenance native/mediterranean schemes, and striking container specimens.
An instant style-maker: luminous silver-blue foliage for arrangements year-round, cool-season blooms for pollinators, and excellent drought/heat resilience — a high-impact, low-fuss small gum for SA gardens.
